Private, person-to- person, firearm sales in the state of Florida may be made between Florida residents and do not require any waiting period or paperwork. However, at either parties discretion, the transaction may be conducted simply with a bill of sale to document the transfer, or may be taken to an FFL licensed dealer where, for a small fee, the weapon may be formally transferred to the new owner with "dealer" mandated requirements. Arguably, some paperwork is desirable for the seller to prove a transfer, though not necessary. Firearms may only be mailed or shipped from FFL dealer to FFL dealer. Get a Firearms Bill of Sale HERE.
Note: The private sale of a firearm to a non-Florida resident is a felony. If you happen to get any out-of-state responses to your ad(s), it is best not to reply or at least advise them of the Florida law.
