The Villages Straight Shooters has scheduled an excursion to take all interested members to the Pro Gun Rally in Tallahassee. The cost will include round trip bus fare (and driver's tip), and a box lunch. We'll stop on the way back for dinner at Ole Times Buffet near Lake City - your expense. The rally, with prominent speakers, will be from 2 to 4 pm.
Bring chair, water, & large hat for shade. It will be warm!!
We plan for the bus to depart at 9:15am from the Lake Sumter Landing bus station and arrive in Tallahassee about 12:45pm. (There will be a brief stop about half way there for obvious reasons!) We will depart around 4:45pm, stop 1 hr for dinner at Ole Time Buffet, and arrive home about 9pm. We'll have a cooler of bottled water for the trip home. A long day but worth it to make our our voices heard for a change. Cost will be $55 pp.
Since the cost for the bus is a fixed cost, we will need a minimum of 38 people to cover the cost. Should the excursion fill up, please go to the wait list. If enough people are on the wait list, we may be able to schedule a larger bus.
