​PLEASE NOTE! DUE TO THE CHANGE IN SESSION TIME, ALL SHOOTERS NEED TO ARRIVE AT THE RANGE BY 9:30 A.M. FOR THE SAFETY BRIEFING AND PREPARATION!  PLEASE BE PROMPT! ​

The Ocala Sportsman's Association is a well kept and safe private outdoor covered pistol range. The Villages Straight Shooters Club has arranged for exclusive use of the range on the fourth Thursday of every month. Each Straight Shooter will have a private lane for the duration of the shoot. No sharing of lanes is required. Don’t worry if you are not yet completely comfortable with your gun. Club Staff will be available to help. If you haven't tried OSA, here's your chance. You'll like it.

The OSA Shoot is a great chance to become more active in the club, to work on your marksmanship, adjust your sights with an available laser bore sight, or just have fun. Instructors are always there to help you. Range time cost is only $10 (paid when making reservation), a special rate just for club members.  
  OSA members will be required to present their membership cards at check-in.

Members may cancel activities themselves, and receive refunds when the activity is a week or more in the future. Alternatively, the member may request assistance by emailing the club at [email protected]. Members must request cancellations and refunds by email if the activity date is within a week. In this case, refunds will issue if the club can backfill the cancellation with another member.

Members are required to review the OSA Range Rules before visiting the range. A VSS Range Safety Officer will be present for every ten shooters. OSA requires strict adherence to their range rules.

If this is your first time shooting at OSA please familiarize yourself with the OSA Range Rule prior to your reservation date. Directions, OSA Range Rules, and OSA Guest Waiver (You must have a 2020 dated Guest Waiver on file) links are available below:     ​

Plan to arrive at OSA 30 minutes prior to shoot time for the OSA led orientation. The safety briefing is required before participant may commence shooting. If you arrive after the designated shoot time gates will be closed and you will not be able to enter.

Medical Emergency Information Form

The Medical Emergency Information form is a voluntary program to ensure, in the case of emergency, the EMTs have rapid access to your next of kin (ICE) contact information and your list of current medications.  EMTs need this information in order to be sure any medications they may be required to use for your benefit in an emergency, do not conflict with any other medications you may be currently taking.
