DUELING TREE (STEEL) SHOOTS - EMERALDA GUN RANGE

​VSS Dueling Tree (Steel) Shoots 
The format is an 16 person elimination tournament

Remember, Reloaded Ammunition is not Authorized

                  Course of Fire
  • Two persons shoot on one target, the Dueling Tree
  • 30 second time limit - 20 rounds - Not more than 10 rounds per magazine
  • Whoever has the fewest plates on his or her side of the Dueling Tree wins
  • Loser goes to the loser bracket
  • Must have 9mm / .380 or larger. A 22 cal round will not "Swing" the plate.​

  • Guns unloaded on table
  • At the 'Starting Buzzer"
  • Pick up handgun
  • Load
  • Charge
  • Shoot, 
  • Reload if needed until "30 Second Buzzer"​

Emeralda Range is a private range available to VSS Member only during VSS Club Shoots. No reloaded ammo please (Gun Range rule).
Members are required to review the Straight Shooters Range Rules before visiting the range. For your safety, our Club requires strict adherence to safety rules.

Members may cancel activities themselves, and receive refunds when the activity is a week or more in the future. Alternatively, the member may request assistance by emailing the club at [email protected]. Members must request cancellations and refunds by email if the activity date is within a week. In this case, refunds will issue if the club can backfill the cancellation with another member.

The Medical Emergency Information form is a voluntary program to ensure, in the case of emergency, the EMTs have rapid access to your next of kin (ICE) contact information and your list of current medications.  EMTs need this information in order to be sure any medications they may be required to use for your benefit in an emergency, do not conflict with any other medications you may be currently taking.
